サイラス・ショートはシカゴ在住の20代前半のシンガーソングライター。幼少期からギターをはじめ、兄が参加する教会でのゴスペルバンドに通い、Soulや90年代のクラシックR&Bから多大な影響を受け育った。Stones Throwのディレクター: ピーナッツバターウルフは、サイラスの音楽を聴いた時に、レーベルにとってもフレッシュな風を吹き込んでくれると確信し、デビューEP “Drawing”のリリースが決定。ディアンジェロやエリカ・バドゥなどのR&B／ソウル好きには是非聴いてもらいたい。
