Her vocals, informed by Indian classical music, curiously carry the scent of old-school jazz singing / singer-songwriter craft, melting together with the shimmer of Fender Rhodes. On top of that, there's a meditative aura, just as her profile's "deep awareness of the cosmos" suggests. Even so, none of the tracks get too far out or too heavy, thanks to the assured playing of currently in-demand International Anthem-adjacent players like Anna Butters.
