A trio project featuring PONTIAC STREATOR, BEN BONDY, and SHINER—sound artists who have been at the forefront of pioneering contemporary electronic and abstract music! A collage of electronics created by stitching together samples gathered from streams, recordings, and fragments of jam sessions. This work is a refinement of a composition originally created for a live set in Brooklyn. Influenced by both the toxic edge of mainstream artists’ sampling techniques and the nostalgia shared among peers in a culture of content consumption, the result is a twisted design that’s both grotesque and emotional. The sound quality is, as expected, West Mineral-level excellence. It’s a concept you’ll want to revisit in ten years. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
