TOM CARRUTHERS—who has been creating timeless works by blending house vibes inspired by NU GROOVE and TRAX with a touch of BLEEP—has once again released a track that transforms nostalgia into something contemporary! Tracks include “Fusion (DNA mix),” where Latin-infused, percussive beats and synths interplay intricately, and “Lost Control,” featuring Chicago house’s signature heavy bass layered with bouncy stabs, noise, and scattered samples. From the sharpness of Detroit drums to the meaty grooves of Chicago, all fused with a contemporary sensibility. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
