90年代にハウス、テクノ、ベース、エレクトロ、ヒップホップ・ブレイカーなどのミックスカルチャーが隆盛した英シェフィールドとノッティンガムのシーン出身のプロデューサー、エンジニアで、イギリスとサン・フランシスコを拠点に活動した Charles Webster 。後にTheo Parrish、Moodymann、Glenn Underground、Ron Trentとも契約しているPEACEFROGとも契約しますが、これはその前の時代。彼が一度渡米し、UKに戻っていた時代に、自身のレーベル〈Remote〉をたちあげリリースしていた1996年の「The Strength」。90sロンドン・ハウス・アンダーグアラウンド PAGAN/WIGGLE の流れにも繋がり、数々のコンピレーションなどでもフック、2019年には〈Mint Condition〉からも再発されていますが、今回は〈Sushitech〉のサブレーベル〈Pariter〉からの再発です。〈Sushitech〉のWood White Studiosでのリマスター、Manmade Mastering、Tim Xavier のカッティング。スリーブデザインも新たにPariter仕様。マスターピース。 (サイトウ)
