Drawn in by the melancholic opening track A1, “Note of Mothership” (sample 1)—a gentle, Earth-loving piece from the previously released album *Electronica Dreamy*—the album features A2 “Sincerely” (sample 2), where you can fully savor his vocals in a style blending folk, electronica, lounge, and moody sounds, (sample 2); track A3, “Ayurveda,” an avant-pop musette-style track reminiscent of Pascal Comrade, featuring the wonderful sound of the Donkama rhythm machine; and track A4 “M for Mandala” (sample 3)—is also deeply compelling. A5 “Rojiura,” a nostalgic, exotic, ambient, oceanic romantic track that seems to make you rediscover the charm of Pacific231 all over again, is simply too wonderful. B1 “Happy Holiday,” with its nostalgic, ambient, cute, and elegant vibe that brings to mind Daisy World’s earliest days; B3 “Humming ‘Dream of Love,’” which gently envelops you with the soothing sound of a lullaby-like music box, inviting you into a serene world; B4 “Figlio Perduto,” a beautiful arrangement of the second movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in Italian, and finally, the ambient, classical closing track B5 “Anemo Wheel”—which seems to evoke the era of the album *Coincidental Music*, produced in the late ’80s but never released—this is a dreamlike, gem-like soundscape unique to Haruomi Hosono, totaling about 26 minutes. A magnificent masterpiece has been born. A family treasure.
