The highlight of this release—and making its vinyl debut on Side A—is, believe it or not! It features the German monaural mix version (sample 1) of “Black Power”—the very first recording by Donna Gaines, then 20 years old, who would later take the world by storm as Donna Summer—which was also used in a key scene of the TV miniseries “11 Uhr 20.” The B-side is incredible too! It includes “Vergiss mich, wenn du kannst” (sample 2), a Euro-cinema cult classic from the 1968 German crime-suspense trilogy *Babeck*, featuring Senta Berger singing the timeless standard “My Way” in German.
