Recorded primarily at his home in Brooklyn, the album features a wide array of instruments, including piano, harmonium, pump organ, toy piano, ocarina, music box, and bells. Layers of sound—drawn from wordless vocals, field recordings, and improvisation—are delicately stacked to create a soundscape that feels both fantastical and real. The innocent charm of a fairy tale and the meticulous structure characteristic of experimental music coexist seamlessly, and the contours of this world become increasingly clear the more you listen.
