"Dusty Cabinets"—which isolates the mad bassline from NANCY MARTIN’s "I Can’t Believe" and gives it a dope Old Chicago-style twist—is one of the tracks on THEO’s album that really pulls you in! The A-side, “Ebonics,” is also a classic early THEO PARRISH-style deep house track that grooves with stripped-down, simple elements.

SS012 is a masterpiece that truly stands out even within the SOUND SIGNATURE catalog. It’s by LERON CARSON, a producer known for obscure ’80s Chicago house. A fantastic track brimming with raw charm! Apparently, he created this track while staying at his grandmother’s house when he was 15, using his grandfather’s keyboard. The B-side is credited to THEO PARRISH at 1987. It’s a fantastic record.
