Jason Dungan, known as Blue Lake, plays a variety of instruments—including the zither, pump organ, drum machine, and melodica—while incorporating a lineup featuring double bass, cello, clarinet, viola, and drums, further evolving the group’s approach that builds on the excellent mini-album *Weft*, released that same year. The album explores the the ...Read more (Original Japanese text by Adachi)me that humans are also animals and an element of the natural world, incorporating the human voice as another instrument. It features an exquisite fusion of Americana-style alternative country and spiritual jazz rooted in Nordic traditions. A direct and resonant instrumental album that celebrates life. Newly incorporating instruments such as piano, melodica, and 12-string guitar, this organic, swaying ensemble emphasizes one-shot recordings, as if following nature's generative disappearance and cycles. Much of the inspiration seems to come from the work of partner and textile artist Maria Zahle, and her piece "Torso" is used on the album cover. Nothing dramatic happens here, hence the mellowness. Don't miss it. Mixed by Jeff Zeigler, who also worked with Laraaji. A full-length album is also in the works for later this year. (Original Japanese text by Adachi)

をやってるPiañuco(sample2)。 ！！ (Shhhhh)
