DJ、バイヤー、悪魔の沼のコンピュー魔としてはもちろん、近年はコンポーザーとしても独自路線で電子音と対峙しているCOMPUMA。音を顕微鏡で覗き込むような前作ミックス『耳目（jimoku）』と対照的なアプローチを披露した『専心（Senshin）』を発表！前作を引き継ぐ、COMPUMA独自の音感性で緻密に描いたエレクトロニクススケープの導入。今作は実際に聴いて驚いて欲しいので多くは記しませんが、特筆したいのがやはりミックスの展開。そしてD&Bからブロークンビーツ、4/4まで様々なフォーマットと速度を繊細に結合する、圧巻のリズム&テンポブレンド技をみせてます。リズムは変わってるのに、聴いてる側は自然に同じ流れに感じるというサブリミナル的な誘い。前作と揃えることで、ミクロマクロの音世界を味わえるのではないでしょうか。マスタリングはお馴染み、名手hacchiの仕事です。

マヒトゥ・ザ・ピーポーが自ら監督した映画【i ai（アイアイ）】のメインテーマ曲が、Glocal Recordsから12インチリリース。「壊れゆく社会のなかで他者と関わりながらどのように生きていくことができるのか」というテーマを背景に、MILLION WISH COLLECTIVEのコーラスとともに展開される９分強に渡るオリジナル。B-SIDEには、COMPUMAのリミックスを収録。ダビーなパーカッションで展開する前半、ベース、マシーンリズムが挿入され、親指ピアノのパートや、アナログなシンセサイザーのパートをくぐり抜け、コーラスと、美しいギターフレーズへとたどる、4部構成の18分に渡る大作ミックス。アナログ入荷しています。
