From CLAPTRAP—which hadn’t released any physical releases for a while, even after their previous hit JOHANNES KLINGEBIEL, which is still a hit at our store—comes a new release already! This straight-ahead Italo track, brimming with melancholy, features a raw, blossoming melody layered with FRANCISCO D’ARGENTO’s own bass vocals and the deep vocals of his wife and model, ELEANORA—all expertly reworked in a skillful remix. A particular highlight is the “Nello Spazio Mix” (sample 1) by DR VALENTINE, which boldly slows down the tempo and skillfully transforms the track into a hypnotic, alternative disco tune. It’s fascinating how each remix carefully reworks the moody, raw quality of the original into a trendy, hypnotic vibe. (Original Japanese text by Akie)

In the late 1970's〜early 1980's, there was a strong bias that Italian disco was a poor copy of the authentic sound of the U.S. A lot of releases such as D.D. SOUND and KASH were released under the cover of being composed by Italian artists. D.D. SOUND, KASH, etc., were released under the cover that they were composed by Italian artists. A new collaborative project from Italo-Swiss DJ, producer and singer Pascal Viscardi with Yavor Lilov and Alain Sandri, drummer/percussionists of Swiss cult band L'Éclair.
